Note: Once we receive SF outbound messages in boomi we need to acknowledge back to salesforce with ack response as shown in the below message shape
If we create or edit any Account in Salesforce, it should trigger the Boomi listener. To achieve this, we follow the steps below:
- Log in to Salesforce.
- Navigate to the Setup page.
- Search for Workflow Rules, then click New Rule and select the desired object (e.g., Account).
- Enter all the required details as shown below.
- Click Save & Next.
- On the next page, under Add Workflow Action, choose New Outbound Message from the dropdown, fill in the required details, and save.
- Now, go to the Salesforce Account page and create or edit an Account.
- You can monitor the triggered messages under Monitoring → Outbound Messages in Salesforce.
