How to Configure a POSTMAN Connector in Boomi?
Step-by-Step: Simulating Postman with Boomi’s POSTMAN(Tech Preview) Connector
- Create a New Process
Go to Build > New Process
- Add a Start Shape
Select No Data from start step and click OK
3. Add the POSTMAN(Tech Preview) Connector
- Drag the Connector shape onto the canvas.
- Choose POSTMAN(Tech Preview) from the connector list.
- Configure the ConnectionClick the + sign in the connection tab it will navigate to the connection page
To set the API Key
Navigate to postmanSelect Manage Accounts
Go to Settings
Select API Keys and Generate API Key
API Key is generated
Copy the Key and store in some notepad
Go to boomi connection page and click to set and copy the key in the API Key tab and click Apply
Save and close the connection
Set Action to GET.
- Configure the Operation
Click the + sign in the operation tab it will navigate to the operation page
Operation page displays
Select Import Operation box and it displays the below
Select Runtime according to your requirement whether for sandbox or production testing and click on NEXT the following page is displayed
Select single collection from the dropdown and click NEXT
Click on FINISH
After that the following page displays
For the Path collection Uid
GO TO POSTMAN
Select Manage Accounts
Go to settings
Select Workspaces and your Workspace
Path collectionuid is in the URL after collection/
Copy the ID and paste in the Path collectionuid
Click on Save and close
Click OK
Now the Process look like this
Connect the stop shape and finally the process look like this
Now test the Process
Click on stop shape and click on step source Data
Click on the data and we can get the POSTMAN collection in BOOMI
